- COVID (2020-ongoing).
- Trump.
- January 6th.
- Biden.
- And now, Trump Pt. II, the circus continues.
In between all that, I guess I lost myself in parenting two kids (now in high school, where did the time go?) -- and adopting another, in the midst of COVID.
My beloved cat Isabel passed away, but I was in turn adopted by my wife's cat Shadow, and she in turn found another (Anya). All black cats.
Joined the core group of our neighborhood CSA in Kew Gardens, supporting Garden of Eve, a local farm on Long Island. And that's "CSA" as in "Community Supported Agriculture", NOT a Civil War re-enactment group. Though I am a bit of a Civil War history buff as well.
Read a lot of books. If you like you can keep track of WHAT I'm reading on Goodreads.com.
Lastly, perhaps as a consequence of both the ongoing pandemic and the political shenanigans, I renewed my interest in art in 2021 -- acrylic painting at first, then watercolors, but ultimately falling back on my favorite medium (pen and ink). I draw almost every weekend and publish online, which you can find at Christopher Doodles as well as the usual social media platforms. (And you happen to like my work, you can also find it for sale on TeePublic.com and INPRNT.com.
So, that's my update. Now that I've remembered that this blog exists perhaps I'll post on occasion.
Wishing you Peace, Love, Sanity and Perseverence in these Troubled Times.
